Location: Corporate Support; 109 Northpark Blvd., Covington, LA 70433

Job Summary:

The Event Coordinator manages and oversees all planning, logistics and execution for a minimum of six annual on-site company events including sales conferences, trade shows, and rewards trips for corporate employees, outside vendors, and customer guests.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes priorities and sets objectives for each event.

• Creates event budgets and tracks expenses.

• Oversees and produces internal and external event communications.

• Plans and manages hotel accommodations and air travel for employees and guests.

• Plans and executes day-to-day event administration including attendee, vendor, and guest participation, registration counts, hotel accommodations, schedules, etc.

• Oversees trade show planning and execution including space planning, electrical, internet, entertainment, and floorplan design.

• Manages relationships with trade show organizers, vendors, and partners.

• Ensures the event runs smoothly and that the company's objectives are met.

• Manages inventory of promotional materials and ensures all materials are shipped to the venue timely.

• Serves as the onsite event contact and hotel liaison, handling any issues or challenges that arise during the event and trouble-shooting accordingly.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or similar discipline preferred

• Strong organizational, communication, negotiating, and multitasking skills

• Must be able to manage multiple events concurrently

• Minimum 2 years events experience required

• Must be able to travel to all on-site events as needed

• Experience with Cvent and Trade Show Management a plus
